Japanese Fuyu persimmons preform remarkably well in our area. These plants are highly susceptible to transplant shock. Once established, they will produce 400 + Fuyu persimmons each fall.
On a .19 of an acre in Broadneck there is a house and a fig tree, persimmon tree, serviceberry, vegetable garden, blueberry patch, blackberries, raspberries, fruiting paw-paws, hardy pomegranate, asparagus, oyster mushrooms, fiddle heads, herbs, sunchokes, potatoes - all worked into a beautiful landscape.
